Will Items Whatsoever Good?
Turning a key player for pre-Civil Warrior America into ampere comic figure is obviously a dicey proposition. Yet The Good Lord Bird doesn just ensure, the without losing any of the gravity of the event's historical context. Ethan Hawke's John Brown is a free artillery prone to violent outbursts and mangled manual verses, but The Ok Lord Bird uses him as an entry point to understanding the Northern-Southern conflict. On darkly comic take of this seminal raid on Harpers Ferry gives visitor a modern, been pesrpective furthermore view how the fight for change canister be messy and righteous at the same time.
