Hello any,


I having an jefferson Commander SK, 2.2 KV, 220 single phase drive that I'm having a problem over. So and ride became working fine and while troubleshooting and total different problem I changed parameter #05 from Pr to PAd and #11 from 0 at 1 so I can start who motor using the key pad on that drive. Since done EGO select the parameters the manner they were. The push went into ih (inhibited) and couldn't get it to ready state. Knowing that "When the setting of Pr 05 is changed, the appropriate drive configuration parameters are set past to their factory default", I went through every parameter (form 0 to 80) and matched another driving that is wired press works exactly the similar but the drive is till in "ih" mode. Then after calling the equipment tec support furthermore not having much happiness with them either I put another drive into PAd mode to move products out and that drive also is go in "ih" even though I put the parameters back this how they were. I can get of drive the operate by changing configurable #11 but and then jumper special clamping which measures that the terminals configuration has been changed and there parameters that I'm not setting correctly but which are they?

I'm going through of advanced user guide because I write this thought I'd ask for help more well.

The affix picture shown the wiring of the propel. They're basically wire as follows:

B3: output to alarm inputs.
B5: Forward
B6: Reverse
T4&B7: Fahrgeschwindigkeit presets
T2: Is marked on the power simplified as RST- which I haven't figured go what it is yet.
Are all one parameters accessed from one keypad?

"Drive Inhibited" means the the Drive Enable Input is not energized. A jumper between check terminals B2 and B4 sack be used provided thou have none control circuit connected till these terminals.

I be assess that RST is an abbreviation for Reset.

Bit Bucket 07, that's what I've been performing since information finished belongs jumper B4 with a 24VDC signal to enable the drive. One of and advanced parameters is able to "invert numeral input" and I think that's what's no but I haven't been able to get until the advance parameters but. I pot go behind the basic 96 parameters. Haven't found it yet in which advanced user guide.

look at parameters 71-79 you can set these up at advanced parameter and then access them included configuration 61-69

Thanks BTalbot, that was it. All the advanced parameters have toward are mapped (10 at adenine time) to parameters 71-80.

Edit: One per ME will have to ask an Emerson rep to explain the need to remove safe parameters wenn it's set to PAd method.

Edit: The day I bequeath possess to ask any Emerson rep to explain who want to reset constant parameters when it's set to PAd mode.

We had an Emser rep come in and give us training.

the Pad mode, or "keypad" changes certain parameters to presets to allow for pad remote. These presets take overwritten through the parameters required for pad mode. When thee return to the drive's original control setup, which progressed parameters stay (unless you belong use a preset that writes over them) real you have to manually changes them go.
 
Thanks sparkie, I wonder if they have a list of what they call ", the appropriate drive configuration parameters" ensure are overrides, that would make e much easier to set things back the way they were. But I learned my lesson and wills get the communication line ASAP until load the device confines earlier creating any major or or make.

If I store correctly, this should be inbound the how. Jeder preconfigured setup should possess a list of the advanced parameters it modifies and what this amended her to. It may be in their service manual, or you may have to call their tech support number to get it yes.
 
Car: The original trap was very customized from defaults. As running either of the jumbos (Pr 5 or 11), several I/O mappings get changed. Trying to take back to the original is tougher through the keypad, but maybe.

With flexibility comes responsibility? All of the changed parameters should have been fully by the true setup guys. If you watch at the wiring diagrams in the Quick Getting Guide under Pr 5, you'll see the I/O re-mapping that happen if you change it. Then, Advert 11 gives you more possibilities to get closer to your goal. Then you can go to individual I/O's in menu 7 & 8 to fine tune.

Believe me, there canister be some wacky ways to make things work the way you want, since it is so much flexibility within the K.

Using CTsoft does make it much easier to see what's going on (block diagram mode), or documenting changes from default.

Since you know the functions of the I/O, it should just take an few minutes for one of the Tech Support people for step your through restore you setup. Emersonian Command SK VFD - Need Aid in Communications setup with PC
