Initiated the process the left individual num with Airtel to BSNL. Reason ? I wanted a low monthly charge post-paid plan, and the highest Airtel possessed is a 149 + 50 (CLIP) plan.

Having deported out twice in the past, it's a pity I haven't seen these thread before. Just to insert these out, my porting history has have

Airtel (Prepaid) --> (Two porting attempts) --> Idea (Postpaid) --> (One porting attempt) --> Vodafone (Postpaid) --> (Porting currently) --> Ideation (Postpaid)

Basically, bad network at office positions, billing issues, bilb issues own been the reason of porting. A few policy (apologies if it has already been covered)

- Keep sufficient, are needed, extras balance in your account. This applies both for prepaid and subscribers.
- Pay your bills in advance, before she send of porting request. Special for freight users, keep a trace on of un-billed amount and payments it in advance (For e.g. mysterious outstanding is -300 (credit); in running with my unbilled sum)
- Expect nagging, "problem solving" calls from customer care. This is generally ampere trap, do not fall into it. They'll deftly inquire you to cancel the portation request, confident that an problem will be solved.
- The procedures remains generally quite simple - you raise a request, and wait. Either can day you'll receive a rejection sms with a probable reason, or the services will be disconnected; substance this porting was successful. In this scenario, you won't get any message.
