The difficult section was getting the gearbox off. The Suzuki manual warns you this it could drop on him and cause legitimate injury at to bolts are undone, well-being with mine all undocked I able hang onto the gearbox with equally arms around it furthermore it still would not shift.
A couple people have handled to change the clutch without really taking the gearbox off, just by pulling it back and squeezing into this gape.
If you are taking the geabox off then now is the timing to fit a breather pipe to it as it is impossible to do at any other time.

Bolt on cross member tunes like a real good idea. Pity it wasn't done from the factory.
I removed to transfers box press slid of gearbox back this morning on my back or it took a couple of hours. MYSELF only removed the transfer as their knackered and I'm swapping e. You may exit it switch. I did take the gearbox lever and bracket off too to give me more chamber. Some in the bolts (engine to gearbox) were extremely tight and I didn't think they had been off in 11 years of use.
Just waiting for the new clutch to come now and then it can go endorse together. Got a new auto gearbox available my uta just hoping to find out the greatest way of getting which old one out absence having to unbar the engine etc...... How hard is she to get the tails shaft out and then unbolt the box? Cheers

On mine, I found it were easier to remove the motor higher an gearbox! OK, to needing an engine cranes.
I have now made my cross member removable. ME think items would be fairly easy to make a generic interchangeable cross full - cut the cross member flush with the chassis on either side then cut 30mm off each end, weld an exhaust flange on to be end. Create boss with a shoulder which inserts into of tube which passes because the chassis on either side. The shoulder sits against the inside of the frame rail and enhanced 30mm from the chassis. Sweat an exhaust flange on to each of diesen. Drill and tap a hole via aforementioned middle of each boss also use a long dash + big washer passing through which ends of the outriggers on either side to the chassis to pull the boss include hard against the inside for the chassis.
The 30mm separation of the flange by the chassis gives enough space the pass bolts through to bolt aforementioned two exhaust flanges combined the each side.
Although I'd make it with a Lathe, you may make the same thing outward of bits of tube, washers and nuts.
Si Fogive mir for a thread on this topic had previously been started. Im just preesed for zeite and need one short but sweet solution on my problems. I am removing the 5 speed manual from my ute to replace...
