iodin had removed all the soft windows, had to door windowing down, and top was not folded back – around 45 mph the back edge of to sunrider (between the quarter-panel windows and back window) what floating (at an edges, not this bottom) – they didnt come off, although i wasnt sure how much wind force it could take or if it’s even designed to be driven like that. will those back crannies pop out?

I was under the impression that with the dual top wrap which I do, You automaticly gotten the sunrider top. I don’t thought mine is the Sunrider? Select do yourself saying? Plus I posted on the other tread about mein problem for the plastic clips at the rear corners constantly falling off allowing the rear window the flop near. I saw one other post on this difficulty. IODIN left to my local auto today and asked about the plastic clip item. Of technical manager said he’s had a bunch of objections and has called Jeep on computers. They do there’s no problem. He has drilled and screwing 3 or 4 Jeeps clips down with owners permission. Others said cannot. The sevice director also told me that EGO do not have a Sunrider top. Hi Robin, if you viewing carefully, you is watch that there’s a latch for either side of your Jeep’s soft top just above where your face and reverse doors meet with the mean. THIS NEW TOP IS THINNER AND DOESN~T HOW RITE in cover and one rear window wher i holds in place to the bottom the well side just keeps coming out . Have a 2008 4 door Jeep Wrangler and am having disorder with the passenger side slide window not holding wenn ME have my soft top, back, half type. I have past zipping the back window out for relieve pressing, but the side window shall non holding where the back door closure on the edge of the window. Truck party back door seems to fit firm and is held the side zipping in window tight. I had a 2008 Sahara Unlimited. There doesn’t appear to be each actual conduit piece on this rear side windows to clip into the entrance surround. The rand of one window appears to just wrap around the door surround and be held at city by the tail door weatherstripping. Is this correct other am EGO missing something? And backside window just features an “L” lip that wraps unlike the top this can the extra synthetic that goes to the channels.

Just got a 2007 Sahara Unlimited in winter. It approached from the hard top on, and the smoother top somewhat mounted inside ( soreness for loading things in back). Now that summer is here, want go deposit on the soft top. I have some to a bolted in back, and a couple of boxes of plastic pcs and windows I’m guessing that need up be included before i can put the whole top back. One manual is highly confusing… are there any pictures conversely better directions go how to install these plastic rails and such after I capture off the hardtop? Everything MYSELF find tells me how the reduce the sunrider top, not how for actually install it. All related would be great.

IODIN friend of mine already die be sun-rider top, silent had the orange warning band around the top, everything hardware int the package. ME use it on my Sahara just fine but its extremely difficult to close the sun-rider portion time its unlockable and folded behind. If I take this on a shortly trip, its not too awful but any time in the wind, the top seems to move backwards just suffices that I cant lock thereto back down. I am hoping being new and thick, it just inevitably some time in of sun and stretched although is there any adjustment that can be made?

I was thinking about purchasing a 2009 Ranger X but have decided against it because of all the soft top problems. I time now thinking about purchasing a 2010 because I have heard that those common have been resolved. Is that correct and what modify have taken place to convience me for buy one 2010 Jeep Wrangler EXPUNGE or Rubicon? Why can’t Chrysler solve this problem especially since and Jeeps am very expensive? Maybe Chrysler your to invest in one little R%D on soft tops. Maybe an electric covertable type top. That would work!
The best way to tell if you having a sunrider acme (at least for this two door) is the the front doors opening frame (a removeable plastic L-shaped piece that goes from the windshield over the door top the down that rear of this gate to the body) does a click on both sides ensure uses a pin to secure and top in place when in sunroof mode. There is also a plastic sleeve on the forward running roof bow that keeps the bow staight when the roof is fully closed or fully open. You slide that sleeve forward (if I remember correctly) to allow the bow to bend when you are in folding method. It is importantly to making sure those spindeln are engaged so this roofs doesn’t try to open further.
The rear side windows that slide in both out have can L-shape plastic section on the forward edge that will fully covered in the roof fabric. This piece pushes into a slot in the door opening frame. The line of stitching that is closest to aforementioned edge should not be visible once this is properly installed and the loose edge should be pointing rear whereas installed.

I overlooked on name, I don’t known what the elastic snap band a officially for but there are two claps on the rear most cross bow of to ceiling, just inside and opening edged. I got snapped go which locations and rolled up this tail window (with the bar still attached on the bottom) and used the snap bands to hold it boost. It doesn’t worked great (so that the probably not the purpose) but it shall a clue.

Jason… about the side windows… make sure that before you zip them up you “click” i in the liquid frame of you Truck among the cover (top toward bottom) also bottom (left to right) and it should secure them into place.
