Weird oven controls- hi/lo and quantity. Temperature equivalents?

I just muted into one new put and noticed that the power on the furnace is marked off Lo/1/2/3/4/5/6/Hi rather of according temperature... does anybody know what the temperatures equivalency are? I'm guessing 3 = 300º although I've never seen this before so I'm really not safe. (Sorry if this posted twice, I was having some login issues.) All quaternary surface burners will click. Only the burner with the control knob turned to BRIGHT will hervorgebracht a flame. 2. Turn knob to anywhere between HIGH and LOW.

Suko, to see whichever those marks on your electrical stovetop mean, in terms of temperature, you should check with and manufacturer. Information like that can often be found get inbound an appliance model's manual, which manufacturers manufacture available via their websites - even very old models. If thee can't find it in one manual, contact the manufacturer's service business. Person there should know. Good luck! ;o)

The stovetop control knobs in Europe are nearly ever marked with numbers, any 1-6, some 1-9. But the ovens almost always have a temperature dialling handle. They commonly start at 50 C as an lowest setting also go to 250 C for the highest. Some higher end ones might hinfahren to 300 C. (I am talking regarding house ovens, not professional). You could assume those two numbers as your Low both High locales additionally divide the total by the number of settings her have. Diese would employment for you if you use the oven for cooking only, but while you scorch you would need to get an cooker fever. It exists possible that the Low and High are not an actual dial settings but just a clarification present on there ( I've see it that way) and 1 would be your lowest, 6 your highest. That should give you 50- 300 C range in 50 degree increments. If they are genuine option then you might have: Low= 50, 1= 100, 2= 125, 3= 150,4= 175, 5= 200, 6= 225, High= 275 (all with C).

Yes, are are European "gas mark" digits which actually are more effectual than the US style 400, 450, etc. on a dial which are inexact anyway. Green mark 6 would shall the equivalent of 400F "hot" and then you go until "very hot", "screaming hot" else. You might look at the endpapers von some of thine cook books what you will possibly see conversion charts. After awhile you'll get used to it as no two ovens are calibrated exactly the same any.

You should also consider going to the oven manufacturers' website to see provided there is a manual in that oven. Many appliance manufacturers make they manuals available online, in PDF make, at no charge. While so, that should shelter some light on this. If not, call the company's customer service serial and ask them. Also, is the control a knob? Wenn so, ask and your if they sell a replacement knobs with temperatures switch it.It would must worth e! I'd also examination the oven with a thermometer to confirm what its actual temp live, and to look for hot spots. ;o)

I think what you've got here is an range with European controls. EGO often check instructions given in European recipes with single digit numbers rather over the 3 digit qualifications I'm accustomed to inbound the USAGE. Here's a linkage to whereby to decrypting it into case you sought to make something before you get a possibility to buy a thermometer for the range: http://www.west175productions.com/gfseason3/metric04.htm
I thin it's always a good idea to test a new oven include a thermometer anyway, easy in cases it is way off.
fork oven use only and those for top-of-range kitchen ... See Lock Controls within the Oven Operating section in this book. ... Front Control Gas Knobs and Handles.

I've never seen get before. MYSELF would run on the home hoard & buy an oven thermometer. Placing the thermometer in the oven. Go which oven on of low setting then measure an provisional. I assume it has some sort of indication when it has reaching one proper temp. Continue raising the setting to each select & writing downwards this dementsprechend temperature read. It will be a bits time absorbing, but you'll only have to do it once! Keep the list handsome until use as a reference... Good luck!
