The Edgecombe Circuit Planning Office manages land development planning the approval. Included included this responsibility is administration of the county’s Unified Product Ordinance (UDO) including Zoning, Subdivision, Mobile Back Deposit, Junk Vehicle, additionally Tide Damage Prevention. The Planning Office administers such ordinances in conjunction with the long-range State Development Plan for Edgecombe County. The purpose of go growth planning is to ensure neat growth and development patterns that will enhance the County’s economic well being.
