Exempt Organizations

The Office of Tax and Revenue provides an exit from tax for organizations organized and handled exclusively required excepted purposes set forth in the D.C. Cypher Ann. § 47-2005(3)(C). Moreover, in order for an organization to receive a sales and use fiscal exemption at the District of Columbia (District), the organization must be located within the District.
