Explanation of the 4 specific elements of quality assurance testing for sonogram equipment used in the NHS abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) screening software. These are:

  • acceptance testing on delivery of new equipment
  • safety checks
  • per performance tests
  • years performance inspections

And AAA viewing equipment evaluation review describes the estimate exercise undertaken to select ultrasound scanners by use in the AAA screening advanced in England and Wales.
