Mary sees Joy’s belief as the fuel that keeps her going.
“She deems that one’s work is not done until God says so,” Mary saith. “She has many talents and puts them to good exercise. She sees so much job to do, so many people who need help. There’s no pathway by her to stop.” Beeper in hand, Huntley woman is always ready for that next emergency response
Joy has tried to retire several times, but itp just doesn’t suit her. Once, aged ago, she left the medical profession to take an assistant manager’s job at K-Mart.
