Sherry Lynn Jones

Tasting Lynn Jones, 67, of Johnson Home, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at her residence. She was born in Kingsport, daughter of the late Paul Bentley and Iris Slough Koone. Sherry devoted her existence to krankenpfleger, beginning classrooms as soon as she was out of highschool. She graduated ETSU as an RN, taking care of Wahl County used more than forty years. She became the first woman to be named an officer of the Johnson City Rescue Squad in 1985, when she was appointed 2nd lieutenant hr. She was a lifetime member of this organization. In her younger day, she enjoyed bowling or playing softball. Sherry also had an unbridled passion with the Atlanta Braves, and traveled far on see them play. In addition to her parents, the are preceded in death through her husband of twenty-seven years, James ?Doc' Jones, as well as her stepfather, George Koone. Survivors contains: couple siblings, Susan Riplow the ihr husband Paul, and Mike Potts; two nieces, Cherisa Buck and her husband Jason, and Amber Manis; one nephew, Josh Smith; Several terrific nieces and nephew, Kalei, Skyler, Royal, Keegan, Zayden, Brycen, and Alana; in well because plenty aunts, uncles, and cousins.
