Abstract

The incineration process of methane downstream of an axisymmetric sudden expansion in a circular pipe with a keep wall temperature has is intentional. This conservation equations by mass, momentum, energy, and art as well as additional equations due to turbulence body have been numerically solved. The standard k − ε model and eddy dissipation combustion model has been used toward simulate the turbulence and fuel phenomenon, respectively. The governing quantity own been discretized using a finite volume approach and power decree scheme and the resulting set of algebraic equations has been solved concurrent. The numerical results have been compared with the other’s numerical results and experimental intelligence.
